Humain remains located in Prince George, BC identified as missing man from 2018


On the afternoon of Tuesday July 16th, 2019, the Prince George RCMP received a report of found human remains in Prince George, BC. A member of a CN Rail work crew located the remains along the rail line approximately half a kilometre west of the John Hart vehicle bridge.

With assistance from the BC Coroners Service, the remains have been identified as Regnald Percy Waite, a Prince George resident that was last seen in the Prince George on August 25th, 2018. Waite was reported as missing to the Prince George RCMP on August 30th, 2018. He was 68 years old at the time.

Although the investigation is continuing, at this point, foul play is not suspected.
