A teen missing from Maskwacis has been found dead and police are treating the death as suspicious.

RCMP say the body of Houston Omeasoo, 16, was located at Maskwacis on Tuesday.

The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit are investigating his death as suspicious. No further details are available at this time.

Omeasoo was last seen in the area of the Samson First Nation in Maskwacis late Friday evening.

He was reported missing on Monday.

Maskwacis RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Houston Omeasoo.

Omeasoo was last seen in the area of the Samson First Nation in Maskwacis on June 21 in the late hours of the evening. It is believed that he may be in the Maskwacis or surrounding area.

Houston Omeasoo is described as:

• 5’8″ tall,

• 110 lbs,

• First Nations,

• Brown eyes,

• Medium length dyed red hair,

• Last seen wearing a red shirt, red “Fox” hat, Black “Fox” sweater, brown cargo pants and no shoes.
