Kayleigh Tanya Jones, 32. Missing Indigenous Woman From Nanaimo, BC. Nanaimo, BC, Canada

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32-year-old Kayleigh Tanya Jones, who was reported missing to the Nanaimo RCMP on Tuesday July 9th and was last seen by a family member on the 8th. Jones requires daily medication and when she left her south Nanaimo home, she did not take the medication with her. Prior to leaving home, her behaviour was deteriorating which has her family extremely worried for her safety and well-being.  

Jones is known to frequent Maffeo Sutton Park and the downtown core of Nanaimo. Investigators have canvassed those two areas with no success. She is an Indigenous woman who stands 5 ft. 6, weighs 220 pounds and has medium length brown hair. She also has a fair complexion. Jones was last seen wearing a bright orange hoodie, black shorts, new running shoes and was carrying a small First Nations purse.
