Williams Lake RCMP have located a pair of individuals who had been reported missing.

Yesterday, police had issued a call for public assistance in the search for Trudy Stonechild and John Tressierra.

Following an extensive search involving numerous RCMP units, search and rescue teams, and volunteers, officers have located the pair safe and sound.

Williams Lake RCMP would like to thank everyone who assisted in the search efforts.

Williams Lake RCMP are asking for public assistance in the search for a missing woman.

29 year-old Trudy Stonechild was reported missing by her family at just after noon today.

Stonechild is described as a 5 foot 4 Indigenous woman, weighing 125 pounds, with medium length brown hair.

Police believe Stonechild may be with a male associate, John Tressierra (pictured in gallery above).

He is described as a 5 foot 8 man with a dark complexion, weighing 140 pounds, with short brown hair.
