The London Police Service is continuing its investigation of the discovery of the body of a deceased male in the Thames River near Gibbons Park on the morning of Saturday, December 22, 2018.
The post mortem examination was completed today and although the death is not considered suspicious the cause has not been ascertained. Further testing will take place.
The deceased male has not been identified and investigators are seeking the assistance of the public. He is described as follows:
18 to 24 years old, 5’4″ tall and approximately 140 pounds. He has straight, dark, shoulder length hair and some dark facial hair, and no tattoos. His left ear is pierced. He was wearing a purple T-shirt with a Los Angeles Lakers logo on the front, black New Balance athletic pants, short black socks, and black Nike running shoes. He was also wearing a black and bronze curb link style chain approximately one quarter inch in diameter.
